Hello everyone, I’m relatively new to the motorcycling world.

I’m not a newbie, but I’m no veteran either. I’m a college student in South Florida, and I own a ZX-6R. It’s a 2006 model, so it’s a 636cc

I don’t know what I’d do without my baby! But I’ve only been riding for about a year now. I’m still learning, though! I mostly joined this forum as a way to soak in new information as well as share my experiences that some fresh newbies will appreciate.

As far as I know, Elwood is near Jacksonville. Maybe I’m really mistaken though.

I’m at Lighthouse Point, ’bout 15 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale.

And I gotta tell ya guys, FL (especially south FL) is the best place to ride

no doubts……being that we are in the low 30’s and flirting with high 20’s here already I am getting jealous. I absolutely hate my cage now….oh well 35 and above the bike comes back out :^) .

We have a cold front down here as of late, and everyone here is dying because of the 50 degree weather! (including me)

I hate the cold. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some snow in winter, but this is Florida! It’s supposed to be effin’ hot all year round! 50 degrees makes my balls shrivel up. (not that you needed to know that)
