July 27, 2008 at 10:05 pm #9391BenParticipantShoei all the way for me, but I have a Shoei shaped head

I love my Arai Quatum II. The new ICONs are nice too.

The problem with the internet: Everyone gets the same font size.July 28, 2008 at 1:37 am #9395WeaponZeroParticipantI use an HJC CL-15 because it was the only helmet that fit my head comfortably, though i havent tried on a shark yet
July 28, 2008 at 3:00 am #9400JirikiParticipantshoei was the only brand that fit my head… apparently my head has expensive tastes… try them all on, find what fits best…. protection is all the same (just differences in aerodynamics and venting)
saw that megaspaz had a fog shield in his helmet this morning… i used to have these on my parents car back in the day… didn’t realize we could get ’em for moto helmets… (that was for shoei)
July 28, 2008 at 11:28 am #9433BoOZe P-ti MotardParticipantShark seems as a competitor of the shoei rf-1000 with its rsr2 with also loadz&lotz of graphics…and araii kind of seems ‘better’ but shape of all categories are +/- same but I love shoei too ..but shark tempts me :S

Solomolo RiderJuly 28, 2008 at 1:00 pm #9435MattParticipantNot sure I understand your question. But the D rings are *how* you attach the helmet, if that is what you are asking. threading the strap through the d-rings in the specific manner makes for a very simple and extremely secure attachment mechanism. Much much better than plastic clips use on bicycle helmets.

July 28, 2008 at 4:20 pm #9436BenParticipantI am in the process of reviewing the HJC FS-10 (the one that looks like a fighter helmet!) and I want it to fit my head soooooo bad! I am in between sizes it seems in HJC. Great freaking helmet, I just wish my head was shaped differently. Expect the review in a couple days.

~Best Beginner Motorcycles AdminJuly 28, 2008 at 5:13 pm #9445ShannonGParticipantThat’s my helmet! I love it so. Although yesterday in high wind situations if I tilted my chin up I occasionally got this weird whisltle from my top vent.
The built in sunglasses are The Greatest. The only drawback is that if I forget to take sunglasses along with me once I get to my destination I have none. But I guess that’s true of tinted visors too.July 28, 2008 at 5:31 pm #9447MattParticipanti’m guessing you don’t have prescription glasses… Anyone know if these flip down sunglasses fit over prescription glasses?

The problem with the internet: Everyone gets the same font size.July 28, 2008 at 5:35 pm #9449ShannonGParticipantHmmm….it would be very close. The tinted visor is a good 1/2″ INSIDE the helmet’s real visor. I would try one on with your glasses on.
July 28, 2008 at 8:51 pm #9458BoOZe P-ti MotardParticipantIt is what ur talkin abt guys? Matt i’l try to see if I can shoot a photo of these little hanging stuffz.. I owed a stm..maybe not heard of but saved me thrice..or 4x.. btw, some one heard of this helmet with iridium tinted visor(something like that) which when the sun sets, becomes transparent and when normal, is tinted black??!!

Solomolo RiderJuly 28, 2008 at 8:53 pm #9459ShannonGParticipantIt has the drop down sunglasses like the Symax but not the hinged front.
