Dont forget that cheap helmets may not always be safer. (Rules to ride by) If you have a $40 head then buy a $40 dollar helmet.Youd be better off going with an established brand.
Afx=Low price decent graphic quality Good value
Vega=Good offroading helmets(I Wear one)
Hjc=Good everything Medium Price
Bell=Awesome! Good Quality

June 26, 2008 at 11:19 pm #7908acidpopeParticipantYou should be able to walk into any bike shop that sells helmets in the states and find HJC, and they’re pretty good helmets. Most are both DOT & Snell approved. I have a HJC CL-SP and it fits very nice, almost like it was built around my head. I do need to get a doo-rag though. After wearing it for a short while if I take it off my forehead looks like a Klingon.
