What do yall think of helmet quick release kits? Are they safe? Thanks

August 20, 2010 at 4:25 pm #28193megaspazParticipantit doesn’t take that much coordination to work the d ring system most helmets use… sheesh…
August 20, 2010 at 4:56 pm #28196JackTradeParticipantI can get mine off pretty quick. Plus, what’s not to love about the wonderfully old-school nature of the D-ring? Simple and effective.
August 20, 2010 at 5:01 pm #28197CBBaronParticipantMaybe you have better finger dexterity than me but there is no way I can work the D rings with gloves on.
A quick system would be nice for those times I’m all suited up and then realize my helmet is still loose.
Otherwise I think I agree with you, so I havn’t not looked at changing it.
