Been lurking for a little bit and decided to jump in and introduce myself. I bought my first cycle last month, a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. I got it new from a dealer (just 6 miles on it) for $2800. I took the Motorcycle safety class last week and have put about 150 miles on my bike so far since I purchased it. Got into riding kind of late in life, just turned 44 and am really enjoying it. I’ve gotten some good info from you all and from the articles here. I plan on using my bike for commuting to work and some pleasure riding in the mountains here.
