Well, I always wanted a motorcycle and my brother always wanted one as well. We’ve decided to take the MSF beginner class together and to get bikes this summer. I’m actually 6′-3″ and 198 lbs so my friends are all trying to convince me to get a 650cc or 750cc. However, I’m going to buy a bike I fit (regardless of the engine size) that I feel I can handle. I checked out a Ninja 250 (not the 08), a Ninja 500, and a Suzuki GS500. It must be the way the tank is cut or my leg length but I fit the Suzuki best, which just so happens to be the bike my brother felt most comfortable on. So, I’m off to the MSF class and then off to shop for a good deal on a used GS500, preferably a GS500F. I look forward to posting on this board more and want to thank everyone (especially Ben) that has contributed to the site since it totally rocks!
