Hey all!
Kinda hoping that there might be a few others here in Edmonton, that would like to get together to pull a few trips, or just cruse our city.
I’m a 30-something female, with a naked Suzuki 500F, always looking to meet others to share my passion about bikes. I have ALWAYS had a soft spot for the old classic Harley’s. So why, I hear you saying, am I on a squid bike? Well, it was the first bike that I bought. I learned on it. And have grown to realize that it fits me so well- both budget and size, and well, its grown on me more then I ever thought it would.
Yah, I still drool over the cruisers, but, I have to say, its a bike that I first got because of opportunity, and well…. she’s my baby now.
Its kind of funny, seeing me out with all my Harley friends, but in the end, its still a bike, and despite being on the end of a few jokes, this feisty female can hold her own.
I have a bike life, and a family/work life, and I guard both carefully. I have 2 teen daughters, and a husband thats starting to get the bike itch too, but right now, when I go out, its all me…. and the family stays safe at home, while mom has time out from the rest of her busy life.
Anyone up for a ride? Male, female, it doesn’t matter. What DOES matter is that your not some young punk out to race everything that they come across. If thats you, don’t bother. As I have said, I have a family, and I ride with care, because, lets face it, don’t all parents want to live to be a nuance to their children when they grow up? *lol*
