what does the dial on the front brake lever on my ’02 gs500 do exactly. i dont want to mess with it since my bike handles and stops just fine as is, but would be nice to know what kind of adjustment this could make if needed. i didnt get a manual with this bike or i would consult it.
P.S. Paid 500$ u.s. for this bike a month ago. Had 14k miles at the time.
Thanks in advance for help clearing this up.

’02 GS500 w/ 14k miles for $500 is really cheap. What condition was it in, and what work did you have to do? Where are you located (city, state)?
