I am going to be investing in a pager system alarm on my motorcycle but the charge to install it will
cost me 200 dollars! This is way beyond my budget as i’ve already over spent, and quite frankly
I don’t think installing the alarm system is worth 200 dollars (the damn alarm itself is only 250!)Has anyone had any experience installing such an alarm themselves?
Is it really that difficult an operation to carry through?
I am not a handy man but at the same time I am not completely inept when handling machines
and especially following instructions. Is it worth a go on my own? Or should I fork up the extra 200 and get a professional to install it for me?
Also, is the scorpion alarm better than the Gorilla alarm or are they just about the same?
Thanks.

What was harder was replacing the fried wiring when it shorted out a month later. The only thing that saved the car from catching on fire is the fact that the engine had a master fuseable link (basically a cable meant to melt when subjected to a couple minutes of intense heat.
I second the recommendation to call a professional.

2. Pack Smith & Wesson (substitute other makes as appropriate).
3. Keep an eye on the car.
