    im trying to electric start my ninja 250 and it wont turn over, now i havent ridden it in 6 days and its cold. so what should i do to get it started?

    One way is to actually shake it side to side because sometimes the float gets stuck in the small Keihin carbs, is the common speculation.

    Drain the bowl, it’s the screw at the bottom of your carb, just open it let it drain for a bit then tighten it back. You don’t have to remove it all the way.

    Spray some starter fluid into your air intake.

    If it hasn’t been too cold, with the choke off, give it three good starts with the button. Put the choke full on and it should start right up if it hasn’t been too cold. I don’t know where you are located, but chances are it’s been cold as fuck where you are.

    These are the only ideas I can remember, and I’ve been drinking a bit tonight while I pack.

    thanks i jujs realized that my battery tenner had gotten wet so i had to buy another one and charge and she turned over but thanks for the info i might have to use one day

    Jumper cables work, but if you get a boost from a car, don’t have the car’s engine running or you could damage one or both vehicles electrics I’m told; might be BS, but that’s what I’ve heard.
