Just got my bike gear from an internet shop:
Jacket:
Pants:
I already had a helmet which I really like:
The flip-up front really comes in handy when your a frequent user of tobacco (which is bad for you and should be avoided to any cost, listen to your mother I said!)
Payed about 200€ or $315 for jacket and pants and 150€ or $230 for the helmet. I’m gonna get myself a back-protector, new boots and new gloves as well. (The boots I used for Trial are bright red and not the coolest creation known to man)
What kind of gear do you use and how much did you spend on it?

Did you have to go a size up or down when ordering them?February 29, 2008 at 5:35 pm #5113KickprivateParticipantI wouldn’t go to the zoo in them and walk around all day. I go shopping all the time with them on and they are just fine. As far as riding all day, sure, and all night too. Don’t expect them to feel great in 25f weather, my toes shivered. I wear size 13 shoes and size 13 sidis.
They are not padded like your boots for everyday use so be warned. Its pretty much leather, cloth then skin. They have a very nice thick raised sole on the bottom which I like and provides great traction.
They held up very well in my recent crash considering my foot was pinned between the car and the bike I walked away with only a bruise on the tip of my foot extending down the side to the heel. Ankle and toes were just fine.

All of my gear is listed in the Motorcycle Gear Review section
