So I was meeting a friend of mine for lunch today at a very busy uptown plaza here in Houston. I got to the plaza and the place was packed with no parking spaces to be found. So I am riding around the different plaza intersections failing to stop at every sign – just because there seems to be a stop sign ever 20 feet. I just made sure it was a clear go. I couldnt find anything so I pulled over to the side by one of the stores, and then a cop pulls up besides me and I thought I was in trouble.
He then proceeded to say “Can I ask you a couple questions?” I thought to myself uh-oh. He then said “What kind of bike is that?” He asked me all kinds of questions to what size it was and how the bike looked like an 1100. Happens to be the cop rides a Harley and thought my bike looked cool. I then told him I need to find a space to park. He then escorted me to a sidewalk then told me to park it there, which was clearly a no parking/stopping zone. He said park here, go have lunch, and I will even watch it for you.
I thought man this is cool. I get my own parking space and security, while I go have lunch. As I am having lunch I see all the cagers driving around like fools, still trying to find a parking space!! LOL
