So yesterday I had finally shaken my flu enough to feel up to riding.. I bought my bike last Monday and had only taken for a short drive since then.. There’s lots of mountains and a national forest by my house so I took her up into the hills.. God I forgot how much I love to ride.. I drove for about 4 hours total.. I definitely agree with the forums that say you need to replace the stock seats.. After about 3 hours my ass was killin me.. Could just be my old body being out of shape and not used to it though.. Gonna give it some time and see if it gets any better..
Today I start using it to get to work.. About a 10-15 mile drive.. Still having the occasional stall when taking off from a stop light.. The clutch seems to have about 1/4″ of play between in and out of gear.. So can be tricky letting it out slow.. But after yesterday I feel much more comfortable about it..

After my hand heals up, i’m taking my one good bike back up to highway 49 and I’m gonna get that double apex hairpin turn down. It’ll probably take you no time to get all the muscle memory back, just need a bit of practice. good luck out there and wb to riding.
