Alright, some may consider it a ‘gray area’ bike, but I test rode it and if you keep the RPMs down it’s REALLY tame.  1985 Nighthawk 650, completely restored.  The guy I bought it from put new tires, brakes (both front and rear), battery, repainted it, restored the engine, new clutch, and replaced all the fluids.  He wanted to get rid of it before winter since he didn’t have room to store it, so he delivered it to the house for $1500.  It looks at least as good in person as it does in the picture.  Now I just need to get a license plate for it and I’m set.  (Yes I took the BRC course a few weeks ago).

There is something about the sweeping lines of a Nighthawk that really appeal to me. And that’s a fantastic looking model you have there. Sounds like you got yourself a bargain. Enjoy
