I have been looking for a bike for for a couple months. Basically watching Craigs list 4 times a day. I finally found something. It was out of town so I rented a trailer and went to look at it. It worked out so, I loaded it up and brought it home (which was a minor story by itself). The next day the plan was to register it and be on the road by noon. What actually happened – My insurance agent’s computer was down (what are the chances) and I did not get the card faxed over until 1:30. I went straight to the DMV and got to wait there for two hours. I went straight home. As soon as I pulled the bike out of the garage it started pouring.

I did finally get out in the evening. BTW the bike is a Suzuki GS500. It is a good size but I would not want anything bigger for a first bike.

Congrats! yea always seems like when you get a new toy to play with everything starts to happen to keep you from it. Hope you took the rain time to look the bike over and get very familiar with everything on it.

Glad it all worked out and congratulations on your new bike! Yeah, rain gets in the way of riding a lot lately. Ah well, glad you were able to get on it at some point at least. Have fun, be safe.
