I’ve seen several sites referred and recommended here, but I don’t recall anyone mentioning extremesupply.com
I saw on a different forum that people were giving them mixed reviews. Their prices are low, so I placed an order with them including a helmet last week. Anyone, have an experience with them? I got a call on Saturday (a couple days after I placed the order) to tell me my helmet wasn’t available. Their web site still allows you to place new orders on the unavailable items, so I had to choose a few other helmets for the girl to check on. We finally got it worked out. I’ll have to report a followup when I receive my stuff, but they just seem slowww. Good prices, so they’re probably busy, but I get the impression it’s a small inefficient company. Definitely not fully automated like amazon.com. Takes time for a girl to receive the order, check with the distributor, order and receive from the distributor, then ship out to me Even more time if there’s something wrong with the order
EDIT: I just received an email from one of the customer service reps admitting that it’s hard to get through on their 800 number because they’re understaffed. Soo, that explains it, but not sure how long standing that issue is.
