I knew that the Army was going to make me take a safetly class when I got back from deployment because I was intending on buying a motorcycle. What I didn’t know was that it’s a MSF licensed class and I’ll get a graduation certificate for completing it. The best part is I get it for free. So, day 1 of classroom and day 2 of riding complete, now. Tomorrow is day 3 in classroom again and Graduation on Thursday. I am picking up my Ninja 500 tomorrow and I’ll be riding it to work starting on Friday. This is exciting!!!

Woohoo…free is good! I’m excited for you, and thanks for your service. Have fun on that Ninja.

They need an extra day to show him how to properly store his AR-14 on his bike.

Ma’am respect the service men and women’s weapons… he needs to stash his m249 or maybe his m4 carbine.

Instead of having it over a weekend with 8 hours classroom and 8 hours riding, they broke it into 4 days of 4 hours each. Alternating classroom and riding. It was pretty cool, though. 8 straight hours in Georgia sun on the hot asphalt on the runway at Hunter Army Airfield would have been torture. 4 hours was bad enough. Either way, I got my certificate and I’m going to schedule to take my road test here in the next couple of weeks.
