I am helping a friend perform a fenderectomy on my GS500f and we are replacing the stock signal lights with something a little sexier. Will post pictures of the before and after!

Can’t wait, the GS definitely looks a lot better with a smaller fender than the beast that comes stock.

So it might be a useful thing… like at a biker rally… so umm… keep it! :-P

I freaked out a little after I ripped off most of the stock decals and put these on, but they have totally grown on me.
I can’t get the tank decals off; there’s a layer of clearcoat over them!
I am hopiing for a real custom paint job over the winter.

Wow, I guess I should have saved some money and bought some new cedars for that hedge, eh? lol

Those new lights look cool but, I’m having a hard time dealing with the look of those mirrors. They look too much like bug eyes, to me. LOL.. They probably let you see more than others closer to the bike, I’d imagine but, damn I just can’t let it go. haha

They are hideous, I agree. I was thinking of getting mirrors off of a GSX-R but they look HUGE and they have an integrated signal light in them. I need aftermarket fairing mounted mirrors!

I’ve often wondered if there is any loss of safety when changing over to smaller blinkers, they do look much better, but i wonder if they can be seen as clearly and as readily as stock lights…just a thought : )

They’re surprisingly bright. I haven’t had any issues with people not knowing I’m turning yet.

They were super cheap, $30 a pair at the bike shop. If you’re concerned about visibility, make sure you get LED lights. They’re tiny but they pack a punch.
