ok guys. I’m a little confused. I’m always reading “I took the curve too hot” and stuff like that. so, I was wondering how fast are we talking about? for example. on a 90 degree curve how fast do you usually go? and on those ramp curves (expressway exits) that says 25 mph or something like that, how fast do you take it? I will appreciate your opinions.

the basic way when you’re “too hot” is if you swing wide, even a little bit, from your intended path. I’m of course talking about “too hot” where you don’t lose traction, etc. but manage to hold it together, but still know that it wasn’t right…

When I’m riding, it’s one of those things only I’ll know (unless I hit something that is), but you have to be honest with yourself if you want to learn from it.

Depending on road/weather conditions, on/off camber turn, what type of machine you’re riding, what condition is the rider in? all that and more…

i’d say you’re overcooking a corner if taking that corner puts you in a panic state. What that the threshold for hitting that state, is dependent on the rider.
