I have a few questions about a 05 ninja 250 that concern manuals and bra related.
manuals:
I bought my 05 ninja 250 used and it didn’t come with the owners manual. I tried going through Kawasaki’s site but when I add the owner manual to the cart it says not available. My question is where is the second best place to look for a bike’s manual if you buy used?
A guy at work told me not to bring my bike back where I bought it to get it serviced because they will do extra unnecessary “fixes” to the bike. He said if I have any issues to let him know and he will help me out. If that is the case I figured ordering the service manual would be a good idea. I’d like to learn how to do as much service and maintenance for my bike as I can anyways. There is also a supplement for the manual that cost as much as the manual. I am curious if anyone has the service manuals and if the supplement is crucial or something I could pass up. Or if it is good to have if I can just order the manual and get the supplement at a later date.
bra:
The previous owner of the bike put one of those sticker tank protectors on the tank and I’d like to get a bra for the bike. What is the best method of removing one of those zipper protectors?
I tried ordering a bra from two shops and both can’t find one for my year. The bra years go up to 2003 then skip to 08. 04,05,06, and 07 are not listed. I know the bike has been virtually unchanged since it came out until the 08’s so I am assuming an 03 would fit on mine but don’t know if anyone else has an 05 ninja and has bought an earlier bra for theirs.
