Just tried to post a response to PinkEagles’ question about his helmet. Was told that I hadn’t properly answered the Captcha question, but the question wasn’t displayed for me to answer. Tried it on Firefox and Chrome with the same result. Had no problem starting a new thread. So here PinkEagles is my response:
I realize that helmets are designed to be thrown out after a single impact. However, I don’t believe doinking your head while standing up imparts anywhere near the impact of a fall at speed or even accidentally dropping your helmet from a few feet. Maybe somebody will come up with facts that dispute my opinion, but I personally wouldn’t worry about it.
