In CT you can… Then again in CT you can ride around without another licenced motorcyclist when you have your permit.

I’m going to assume you can, but you need to call your local DMV and find out.

Ralphie is a kid about, what, 10 years old? Set in the 50’s… Anyway, all he wants for Christmas is a BB gun. Every time he tells this to anyone, all he gets in reply is “You’ll shoot your eye out.”

You are correct ronkore. I was just making reference to JoJo’s refusal to look at anything but 600cc supersports as his first bike. Although it’s a smarter decision than the GSX-R600 he wanted before. Still in the city (or even the boroughs) it’s going to be borring on a 600, you’ll never shift out of 2nd or 3rd.

And ironically, he does pretty much shoot his eye — only his eyeglasses shatter as they block the ricochetted shot. — Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho

This tangent would be much funnier if he was buying a Honda…

The 650R is designed to be an entry level sport bike. The CBR600 has a first aid kit as one of the dealer-installed options. Red Rider in that case would refer to the color of what was left.

Ha ha, just because you see a Hayabusa in the city, doesn’t mean it’s a genious idea. It would be about as much fun as owning a lambo, but only being able to drive it in school zones with a 25mph speed limit.

There are quite a few people who buy their bike solely for image, and think nothing of purpose. They just want to be able to say they have a big expensive bike with lots of plastic, and it could really do something special (if they ever bothered to really learn to ride it).

If I was back in Queens (WOODSIDE!!!) I wouldn’t get anything but a 250 or 400 enduro. It’s easier to park (run over curbs, through alleys, abandoned lots etc.), I’d get to shift like mad, and it’s way more maneuverable. It would just be way more fun in an area where you almost never get to go over 65mph, and most of the time are just gunning it, stop and go.
