I have a month of self-enforced shopping first. Maybe 13 months… We’ll see. I made a promise to myself not to get a bike until I pass a professional exam (took it in June, results in August, I await them with baited breath…)

Probably a standard rather than a sport bike, but I think maybe a sport bike over a cruiser. After the class, I’m leaning toward buying a used bike over a new one, so we’ll see what’s available… I’ve also heard that used prices go down once the snow flies, so I’m not really expecting to be getting a bike for this riding season.

More likely having already switched me from one bike that I was having trouble with they didn’t want to switch me to another one.

Thanks for the advice on practice. Thankfully I live in a somewhat remote area, so it is easy to find road without alot of traffic to ride on.

Like you, I prefer the sports bike over the cruiser. But, I also like it over standard. I hope you get a positive answer in august so you can get certified!!!
