I have been looking for a beginner bike for about 3 months more or less and have not really found what I have been looking for. The scooter world does not fit my look and they all appear so girly (no offense). I have read reviews on the Ninja 250 and all sounds impressive but I am an older guy, but not over the hill, and the Ninja looks more like a young mans bike. Any suggestions on a cruiser 250cc or multipurpose 250cc bike that I can check out?

And what’s over the hill to you?
Mind you, I’m in a holding pattern at 39, and didn’t think the EX500 (Ninja) was that bad of a influence when I got it. If I had the chance, I would have gotten the 250 instead…
During my BRC, I rode various 250s such as the Nighthawks, Rebels, Viragos and the Eliminators which were all pretty fun to ride on.
Although I think I’m more of a sports sitting type person than the cruising type? I just like curling/folding my legs up, not having them sticking out in front of me. 😮
