Does anyone here know who makes those awsome looking helmets with the mohawk? They look like Kawasaki products from what I’ve seen of them, but i just can’t find them on any website. Any help finding one would be great.

Oh, man. Please tell me that’s not going on your helmet?

Though, I’ve actually thought of getting one of those. No, not to make some fashion statement. But because those ‘faux-hawks’ are so ridiculous, it might just be enough to get people to notice me on my bike. Still… I do still have my dignity…

PS: Pick up a HALO reflective band for your helmet, while you’re looking at helmet accessories. The viability is priceless! It’s $15 that you will NOT regret.

Screw that you need a real mohawk like me!

…that rides with 3 ‘hawks on his lid. Red, white, and blue. Very cool, in my opinion. But the single ‘hawks? Hmmm. Not so much. Again, just my opinion. YMMV.

That’s a good picture Ben, I like it, the whole red white and blue thing is a good idea too, no shame in showing some patriotism.

that HALO reflective band looks like a really good idea, i like the ‘Hawks because they would make me stand out a little more, make me not just a another rider. i didn’t even think about the visibility, although that is a positive side-effect. I’m still thinking about it though, just thought they looked good.

Slice, what ever floats your boat. If you want to go with a mohawk on your helmet, go for it. You can’t live your life trying to conform to the standards of a bunch of total strangers whose only relationship to you is that they happen to like motorcycles and frequent the same forum as you.

    That said…

My vote is in for the pink one. It will match the bug-eye helmet nicely. :)

I second Owlie, if I had a plain helmet, hell I would, why not. I have no shame.

I do love the Halo band. It’s super reflective and really catches the headlights even a few cars away in traffic since it’s so high up on your body. It’s really a steal for how much visibility it provides. I won’t go out at night without it on.

I’ve contemplated putting horns or tiger ears on my helmet before. The only reason I haven’t is wind resistance. Maybe if I get a cheap Shoei I will.

    …did you say “cheap Shoei”?
