    another 650 question !!

    specs here

    48 hp , red line at 7500 , weight is 175 kg .

i am 24 , 65kg and comfortable on taller bikes . i’ve concidered alot of bikes , but i like this one the best and i can get a good deal on the price not like other bikes this site has reviewd witch are way expensive to my pocket .

just tell me if i’m wrong and i’ll continue my search .

p.s. never riden a motorbike before the equivalent of the MSF cource in my country , but i still am a true 2 wheeler ( push bikes on downhill freeride dirt-jump and so on , doing this for about 16 – 17 years ocasionaly on competitions too ) .
p.p.s please excuse my bad english

The Pegaso was built using the same Rotax-built engine as the original BMW F650, however, it had a 5-valve cylinder head vs. the F650’s 4-valver. It’s a sporty commuter bike that will do you fine. Parts shouldn’t be too much of an issue even though it was only built for a few years because of all the parts it shares with the BMW.

It’s a great bike for beginner who are tall.

If you are used to downhill/freeride mt. biking, the size/height of the Pegaso shouldn’t bother you.

It’s a big bike to be taken off pavement though…

oki , so size and heigt whont be a problem , but my main concern about choosing a first bike is weight , being used to downhill/freeride i count alot on my body for steering and i’m allready so used to it that i don’t think of it anymore and i am affraid i’ll try to do it on a motorbike becouse i am used to it so i’m worried about the weight .

p.s. please excuse my bad english

Although you can use your body in turning you will want to learn proper turning, via the big bad mysterious counter steering. Weight really only becomes a factor in slow speed maneuvers (2nd gear or lower) and should they day come when you pick it up off its side.
