Tommorrow I will be looking at a 96 ninja 250 with 22,xxx miles. My friend will be riding it, but is something in particular we should be looking out for? Here is a link to the bike http://tulsa.craigslist.org/mcy/760391175.html

I have that same bike, it is a 2006 also. I bought it new from the dealer 2 months ago for $2800. Not sure why it was still at the dealers for 2 years, but the 2008 were backordered so I bought this one, It’s a great beginners bike, I love mine and my skills are expanding quickly on this easy to ride bike. I think he is stretching the truth a bit on the MPG, I’m getting around 55 on mine, and that is keeping it under 6000 RPM during the break in.
