Lately, I’ve been considering buying a cheap dirt bike (read: $50 to $300) to ride around my home. (I live out in the country on 9 acres)
Now, obviously, that much isn’t going to get a high quality or newer bike. I’ll probably have to fix a few things. With a manual, do you think it’s a good idea to fix up an old bike just for riding around for fun? I’ve never done anything like this before, so I’m looking for some advice before I do so.

April 10, 2009 at 5:53 am #17648Jay TParticipantand put in a max price and see what you come up with. Remember the old mini bikes with the Briggs motors on them. GOD what a blast. If you are flexible, (read up to $1k) you may be able to find a bike that is titled and can be plated. 9 acres + trips to the store. You will be finding excuses to run little errands for your honey.
