This afternoon my husband and I rode our bikes about 35 miles northwest of Oklahoma City, to the small city of El Reno. Our return trip was on the old historic Route 66 for about 20 miles, so that seemed rather nostalgic to me. I wondered how many bikes had ridden over that same stretch of road over the years!

Those highways are one thing that I miss about Oklahoma. My mom and I took 51 from Tulsa to Stillwater in her Miata when I was home earlier this summer and that was wonderful.
