Brakes are almost the only thing that will make loud noise with the engine off. Inspect the brakes for: stones stuck in the caliper ( does the disk have groves wearing in it ), is the disk so polished that it looks like chrome? Brake pad ‘glazing’ ( can be sanded off the face of the pad or the pads replaced )
