Saturday was a really nice day in the Chicagoland area. I learned to ride to the city on our busy expressways, I learned to ride in the city with all the crazy cagers, I learned to always drink enough water while you are riding, I learned I need a windshield to protect me from being bug splattered, I learned that when someone says we are going to ride to Route 2 that if you never heard of it it’s probably really far away, I learned to carry a map in case I want to split off and make my way home, I learned that being on my bike actually riding for 7 hours is a bit long for a beginner, I learned about rider fatigue, and lastly, I learned how to ride in the rain. OMG! I liked it though. Does anyone’s knee caps hurt after they ride? Mine did. Next month I am riding to Wisconsin! YEAH! I rode with a woman on a Victory Kingpin LOW colored iceblue – it was really nice, too big for me but I really liked it. The other girl was on a Harley Dyna Low rider, that one vibrates a lot, I wouldn’t like that, then there was me on my little Suzuki Savage. Hee hee. Now it’s cold and rainy today and tomorrow then on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday it’s going to be really warm – we have to dress business on Thursday and Friday at work because we have visitors coming in but I’m going to ride anyways and just throw my dress in my backpack. It would be a crime not to ride when it’s nice out!
