Come on now , don’t knock the River Roads… I got a pair..perfect for moderate to hot temp days. But since we dropped into the 40’s here i had to upgrade:

Not used to spending alot of money on something so small, but I ride with no fairings and I am 36 miles a 75+ mph one way to work. Here in NC you need the Water proof along with the wind resistant and the insulation. Mind you though..these bad boys are a bit thick and took a ride or two to get used to . Face mask is definitely in near future.Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a prediction, but today…… is a Bi**h

October 6, 2008 at 8:13 pm #13413CandiceParticipantLast week I rode in and it was about 42 degrees at 6am, that was definitely too cold for my finger TIPS! Holy crap, couldn’t feel them 1/2 way through the ride and it hurts when they start thawing out! My rule is now no riding for me under 50 degrees. Yes, I was wearing Motocycle gloves but apparently they are not for the cold, these ones. I suppose if I had the proper gloves I would have been ok, though. Someone suggested that I get some type of handle bar shields they use on skidoos so the wind doesn’t get to my hands.
