So I got my permit yesterday morning, after failing the day before. I went to bed last night thinking about what my first ride would be like. Would I ride to fast, will I crash, drop the bike..etc. I woke up this morning feeling like a teen who is about to go on his first date, and know he’s going to score a home run. But the nervousness of never experiencing something that everyone tells you is exciting, knowing you are about to once you get that annoying helmet on, is euphoric. So what was riding for the very first time like. Orgasmic!! I was supposed to take a few laps around the parking lot, but once I finally arrived I wanted more asphalt. Oh, what a feeling! It is so easy to speed though. I dropped my head for one second and saw myself approaching 50mph, feeling like 30. And the bike? I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to lose my virginity with. Drinking and smoking? That’s played out, man. Everyone, say hello to my new vice!

Dude, ATGATT. Don’t ride just wearing a speedo. A) it is gross and absolutely no protection. I don’t even want to know how looking at your jock can indicate speed.

Hey, smokeizfire. Awesome! But I was under the impression you were riding already. My bad. So you had your bike for how long before you got riding? Brutal.
September 6, 2008 at 7:33 pm #11762smokeizfireParticipantI had the bike for a week and 2 days. The bike is awesome. I get looks everywhere I go, from cars to peds. Even the Harley guys give a 1/10 of a sec glance…until they notice it’s too small to be a HD. Then, they just look away in utter disgust.
