hey… so i was pulled over by some cops because apparently my running light doesn’t work… the brakes do though…

does anyone know if these are using the same bulb? I am trying to get my hands on a service manual… but don’t want to wait until it arrives before fixing this… anyone else had tail light issues?

Isn’t this a new bike and shouldn’t this be under warranty?

Bulbs won’t be warrantied because they’re wear items.
It sounds like a short in the system though, since I doubt very much you would burn out the running light filament of both taillight bulbs at the same time. It’s a two filament bulb, one for the taillight and a bigger brighter one for the brake.

G is right… one bulb, two filaments and the ‘one which is not for the brakes’ ( :P ) has burnt and do not think on a new machine things and components are good and working properly; i had same problem when i bought my first bike, not to include missing bolts, some caps and ..that’s all… only the engine is warrantied..nope? and yeah well when it is the first time i know one will wait for a manual or so but do not fear child :P unscrew the tail light cover and get a bulb same as you see there and replace it, jobs done..
