I ended up going with the 08 ninja 250, and I am more than pleased with it. It hauls me around with no issues and I was surprised at the amount of power it has for a 250. I keep getting told that I’ll be bored on it in no time, but I plan to upgrade to a 600 in a season or two, I just needed somthing to learn all the basics on. It also doesn’t hurt that the bike looks great too. The dealer tried to sell me on an 07 left over because it was like 3-4 hundred less but after seeing both the 07 and 08 side by side I couldnt turn down the newer model even at a higher cost. Very pleased with my new bike.
