I once bought a Honda certified used car, and the battery died 4 months later (not that it needed to be jumped, but the battery was dead – couldn’t be charged again). Although warranty doesn’t cover a battery, I went in with the argument that no proper battery dies in 4 months. I suspect that a similar argument could be used for the clutch. It would be tough to kill a clutch in 1300 miles.
