Hello from Nashville, TN

Hey everyone, hope all is well. New to the forums and the biking community. Don't have one yet as I am in the looking/research phase of things at the moment. I am going to take a motorcycle learning course, beginners course soon at a local state certified school. Think it will set me back only $200 but I think it's well worth the money for 3 days learning all of the basics. Plus the fact that I never road a bike other than a bicycle lol.

Now the bikes I am interested in, still not fully sure yet. I don't want anything above a 250 I think for a first time bike. Or if I go scooter route, possible 400 - 600 range maybe.

My original choice was going to be a scooter due to being an automatic, great fuel economy and with Nashville traffic I feel I might really put some abuse on the clutch.

Or if I go bike route, I have three in mind presently, Honda rebel, the Ninja 250 (08 model, sucker is HOT!) or the CFMoto V3. I also really love the style of the V3, and that bike is an automatic as well. Uses a honda helix if I am not mistaken setup (engine/transmission) however on a bike style. The body looks really cool. So still unsure which path to go.

Although I think once I take the course, it will all be much more clearer then =)
