site troubleshooting
Who manages this site? Trying to upload photo. First photo was wrong pic. So I deleted it and reloaded the one I wanted. The site doesn't seem to acknowledge that I loaded a new pic, it keeps displaying the first one I deleted. Any suggestions.

most likely browser cache. I had issues in opera, but mostly because most things are written so poorly for opera since opera's been the best at following the html/whatever specs. If you did this in firefox or ie, I'd say it's browser cache. You might have to log in and out again and clear your browser cache. It could be that it takes a while as well, eventually it'll change.... at least it should.

Well, it isn't exactly something that anyone thinks of at first. Firefox has some pretty persistent browser cache. I see this issue all the time with web admins testing something with apache on IRC. You have to explicitely force a reload or explicitely clear the cache through the menus. IE has issues of its own... as in no one should ever use IE.

The funny thing is the exact same thing happened to me about 3 months ago. I was trying to change my avatar image and it kept showing the old image and not the new one. I trouble shot that thing for over an hour until I finally decided to try clearing my cache.
I run this site, but I'm definitely not the best programmer around. :(

photos and profiles???
Hey Ben, has there been any thought of adding a member profile page or photo gallery feature? Just an idea. It'd be nice to have a central location for pics of our rides, projects/mods and scenic cruises or future meets. Might also help the new riders realize that a race bike is not necessary. I wish I could help..but I'm a Unix/Network guy and not much of a web programmer...... Just an idea, I'm still gonna hang around here with or without.
The expanded profile page
The expanded profile page has been thought of, but not a gallery. I think both are great ideas and are on the list of things to do :)
