Sounds like a pretty good dream from what I’ve read so far, but i’m only on chapter 1 of your post…. 
Quick side note, I used to have dreams all the time when I didn’t know how to swim about me learning how to swim in my dreams. It always seemed so easy in dream land, but I didn’t actually learn in real life until last year!
