Just to add to this in case anyone is wondering if a 250R will be right for them, I weigh about 300 lbs myself and my 08 250R pulls me around with no issues. It dosent feel like its trying too hard, and I have yet to bottom out the suspension on it. Also its good to remember that the 08 had a rear shock preload adjuster added to it, I adjusted mine up a bit, the lowest setting just felt too soft.
