I am in the middle of my MSF class at the local college. 20 hours of training over 5 days, some classroom work and lots of range work. It only cost $25!! All the instructors are MSF certified. From what I was told, here they get a lot of grant money for the manufactures and insurance companies, and the local dealerships provide all the 250cc bikes. What a great deal!! Just needed boots jacket and gloves. Only one problem, it is a TON!! of info to absorb in just 5 days.
