I have to admit I skipped the part of starting on a 250 and went to an 800 cruiser for the first bike, Im 5″4′ 200 lbs, the 250 cruisers will have issues on the highway, forget I think the Honda Nighthawk will top out around 50 to 60 mph. a 250 sportbike is nice, best to sit on it and see how you would feel after 20 or 30 mins in the saddle though (my back cant take the hunch over position).

Is there a particular type of bike you are looking at? just remember power isnt everything if you cant stop in time
