nighthawk, rebel or gz250?

im looking for a 250cc bike, i was debating about what to get. its between the nighthawk, rebel, or gz250.
im 16 years old, 5 foot 6 and 155 pounds. im just doing short commutes(some being on gravel country roads)
what is the best bike for the money?

Go with the Nighthawk. Don't waste your money on a brand new one though. There are plenty of great, low-mile bikes out there. My first bike was a Nighthawk. It was a 2003 with only about 2300 miles on it. I bought it for $1900 and had a blast on it. As with any 250, you may outgrow it pretty quickly. 77 miles per gallon though. Can't go wrong. Personally, I think the rebel and gz look like they're trying to be a big cruiser. Kind of a wan-a-be. The Nighthawk is what it is. A standard motorcycle. Weighing 190lbs, I was able to top out at a little under 70 MPH.
