How does everyone like the new look of Best Beginner Motorcycles? Right now there are still a few errors, but at least it is MORE functional in internet explorer. Hopefully over the next week all the kinks will be worked out.
In the meantime here is a picture of my beautiful girlfriend posing next to my bike with brand new stickers on it! Now if anyone sees my motorcycle on the street be sure to wave!

Rebel 250 v. Vulcan 500
Learned on a Buell 500 and looking for a first bike to buy. Felt comfortable riding the Buell in a parking lot but now trying to decide between a Honda Rebel 250, Ninja 250 or jump straight into the Vulcan 500 LTD.
Should I get the Rebel to build up riding experience or should I skip that step and go straight on to the Vulcan 500 since I learned on a Buell 500 and felt comfortable on it?
I'm concerned I'll grow out of the Rebel quickly but then safety is my main concern -- is it worthwhile to build up experience on a Rebel before moving onto a Vulcan?
Also, I'm considering Ninja 250 as a first bike just to gain experience before moving onto a bigger cruiser bike. Should it make a difference whether I get a racer bike or a cruiser as a first bike if I intend to get a cruiser later?

The best bike
If you felt comfortable on the buell 500 then I would go with either the vulcan 500 (if you like cruisers) or a suzuki GS500 or a Ninja 500. The main thing with 250's is it makes it really easy to learn throttle control, but if you are already on a 500 and you feel safe on it, then I would stick with a 500cc bike.
Out of all the bikes I would recommend either the vulcan or the ninja500. Good luck!
