My name is Brandon, however I prefer Kick over the first. I was born and raised in Hawai’i on the island of Maui. During my 20 years in Hawai’i I was a beach bum, mall rat and computer geek. I first encountered my first sport bike at the age of 15 when a neighbor brought his home one day. I was in love and ever since I have wanted one.

Shortly after turning 20, I moved to Texas where I reside now as a CAD (Computer Aid Drawing or Drafter) Tech. I am currently in the process of getting my Kawasaki Ninja ex500R, at the time of this writing it will be a long 2 weeks before ownership is mine!

The name kick is derived from a enhancement pill called “Kicksomemass”. When I was a child, we would pronounce it “Kicksomeass”. When I became a “nerdcore” my online nick was indeed kicksomemass however my gaming buddies shortened it to just Kick and it has stuck with me. However trying to get coworkers to call you kick is a chore, only my gaming buddies that work with me call me Kick.

Why I do what I do

I enjoy it, plain and simple. I know what a pain in the arsenal it can be to try and find something and come up dry. That is why I do what I do, I want to make sure you can find what you are looking for and that Is why I am here. Why I want to be here

I think BBM (BestBeginnerMotorcycles) is the perfect place to start my motorcycle writing career. Why? I think I have something to offer. What that is, no one knows! I want to bring something to the table that only a few dare to. Passion and Commitment. I feel that if I can help someone, I should. That is why I am starting my career with BBM!

Why do I call it a career? That's easy. I am in love with biking and that is something I will never lose. I feel that I can share information with people who are looking for something. I may not be able to tell you how to adjust your valves, but I’m sure I can tell you where to look.

What can you expect from me in the future?

I plan to write articles geared towards starting the venture into buying a bike. I hope to cover everything from Researching Bikes to buying gear. Places to buy gear, books to read, ways to find riding groups, ways to give back and have fun while doing so with your bike. Expect a lot of information on things that you may not find elsewhere.

Final Thoughts
If I had to walk away from biking tomorrow, I would want to make sure that helped at least one person. That is why I am here, that is why I am here to stay.
