Mt. St Helens ride

Been awhile since I posted a video on here and this one was from two months ago. It's probably my favorite road in all of WA (at least so far!). Very little traffic on it, 120 miles round trip of twisty road that changes character as it goes along. Starts off among the trees but you eventually climb out above them and hug the mountain side. The road is covered with snow something like 6 months of the year so it gets broken up each year with 'frost heaves'. Makes it very interesting as you never know when you will have to change your line half way through a corner to avoid big cracks in the road. Throw in the spectacular landscapes of Mt St Helen and it really is just breathtaking. Can't wait to go back next summer and do it all over again.
Oh, and for a change I'm actually in the video. Most of the footage was from the bike behind me.

This one was about a month before the last ride and was my first time in this area. Took it easy and just soaked in the amazing views.
For some reason this video is not embedding? If it's not showing then http://vimeo.com/14393112 is the direct link to it.
That was great!
Thanks for sharing the ride Eon. I enjoyed that very much! Beautiful scenery, exciting road, and a cool tune. Wish I could make it out west to enjoy it for myself!

Nice Ride!! When we tried to go up there most of the roads were still closed, or had miles of gravel. As always, dig the video...love the B52's soundtrack for this one!

It's a 500cc maxi-scoot, a Piaggio MP3. Looks weird but handles (more or less) like a regular bike.
