Wbsprudels C50

My turn...I bought the Memphis Shades new Batwing Fairing for my 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C50 and installed it this week. I wasn't sure what wind buffeting meant until now. As I ride at speeds greater than 50 mph I feel my head vibrating like I am on a small jack hammer. I just ordered the optional wind deflectors...hopefully that will cure it. Plan to add the taller windshield as we get closer to colder weather.

PS How do I delete old pictures that I have uploaded? I would like to have more space to add other pictures.

Very nice. What fairing shield did you go with? I got the 9" as I had heard from everyone the smaller ones gave a buffeting effect. The 9" puts the turbulence over my head.

I went with the 5" with the plan on getting the 9" later--may need to go with it sooner! Fortunately, they are not too expensive and easy to swap out.
Lower Wind Deflectors Solve Buffetting for Me
Just added the wind deflectors along the bottom right and left of the fairing, and my buffetting issue is a thing of the past. I took the bike out Saturday on 200 mile trip to northern Indiana (75% interstate) and experienced no problems with the wind. It was terrific! Very happy I added the fairing. The quick release is an added benefit I intend to enjoy if the temps climb back in the 80's before winter hits.

Yea. Fortunately I already had put the lowers on the fairing from the onset.....mostly cause I liked the finished look of it.
Cool thing I found out this week, first week its rained since I had it, was the "turbulence" comes from over top of my helmet and actually forces the water down..... which really is wild to see as a cruiser person. The really trippy thing to see is that the turbulence that comes up my leg actually catches the shedding water and throws it forward to get caught again by the upward pushed wind at the top of the shield.... really wild to see. There again probly unique to my riding position but effective for me.
Glad your as happy with your as I am with mine!
