Well I guess there goes the old question of "Does a bear shit in the woods?" Apparently ... not all the time...lol. Wonder if there was a matching stain higher in the saddle.

How bizarre that only the guard rail was impacted. The guy must have grazed the bear on the side of the bike and pushed the bear out of his way. I guess the sportster had more mass afterall... A smaller bike would have deflected into the nearest tree ("Bounce!") Its funny how part of your mind is like, WHOA BEAR?! and then after the guy is ok (and his bike too), then it's like, hmmm... I hope the bear is ok too. But then again, who really gonna go back and check on bruised BEAR? You just kind of hope for the best and keep on rollin'.
