That was cool, but part of me wonders why we pay our police to become expert synchronized bike riders? If they need that much skill in order to do their actual job, would it not be better to just stick them in a car?

Funny part is the first half of that vid you can still find Drill teams at your local rodeos doing that (country horse and cattle rodeos). The "Snake" is a particular favorite.

It reminds me of high school marching band also, Jtown. I wonder if they practiced the moves on foot or on bicycles just to see where they needed to go before trying it on motorcycles.
The only particularly useful skill for a cop that I saw there, other than just general riding technique, was riding up and down steps, which I'd imagine would come in very handy for a motorcycle cop.
