In today's Oregonian, there is an article about female motor drome rider Cookie Crum. There is a series of apparently rare motor drome performances this weekend at a Portland area HD dealer, and it was a good opportunity to highlight the 77-year-old Crum.

If you have never seen one of those shows, its really cool. They used to come to the Fair when I was a kid. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world to see them defy gravity that way.

That's Awsome! That she would have the proverbial "balls" to go out and try that, no less making a living out of it is just awsome. We need more people like her in society today, and it would be really cool to see her ride the wall today :)

I went to one of the Wall of Death shows this afternoon at the Harley-Davidson dealer in Gladstone, Oregon. It was a lot of fun! Here is a video of what looks to be the same company:

Cookie Crum was there signing posters, but at 77, she has retired from riding.
